 Platte Valley grasslands provide an important source of forage for cattle and are essential to the survival of many grassland-dependent wildlife species. Grazing and haying provide revenue to ranchers and farmers but can also maintain healthy grasslands. Platte Valley producers and wildlife can mutually benefit from this Partnership by increased revenues and improved management of native grasslands.
This Partnership uses input from landowners to determine their needs and balance their needs with those of wildlife.
