The Partners

The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) mission is to preserve the plants, animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. To accomplish its mission, TNC recognizes the importance of working with private landowners.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s mission is stewardship of the state’s fish, wildlife, park, and outdoor recreation resources in the best long-term interests of the people and those resources. The Commission recognizes that over 97% of Nebraska is in private ownership, and that to accomplish its mission it must focus considerable resources on private lands.
